As you know, precautions are being put into place nationwide to decrease the transmission and spread of COVID-19. Your overall health is our top priority.

We want you to know that during these times, we have chosen to prioritize the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community by temporarily closing our office until Tuesday, May 12th, 2020

What to expect as we re-open

  • After May 12th, all in office visits for hearing aids out of warranty or purchased elsewhere will be $65.00.
  • In effort to practice social distancing, we will offer limited curbside services starting at $15.00 to help cover the cost of new safety procedures.
  • We have taken additional precautions such as scheduling all appointments with significant time gaps between them to ensure you do not come in contact with other patients (and to give us ample time to clean and sanitize our spaces between appointments). Our appointments are still one-on-one and patient focused to specifically minimize any risk to you.
  • Another option that may be available to you is our remote in-home programming. If you’re unsure if your hearing instruments can be adjusted remotely, call us and we’ll let you know.

New appointment protocols

  • All services will be by appointment only, i.e. we are suspending walk-ins until further notice.
  • Our lobby is closed. Before an appointment, please call us so we can walk you into the office.
  • We now require that all patients and visitors entering our office cover their nose and mouthYou can do this with a scarf, a homemade cloth mask, or your own surgical mask.
  • If you or anyone in your household has symptoms such a new cough, fever or shortness of breath, please tell us about your symptoms. We will ask you additional questions and give you instructions for next steps.
  • Please come to your appointments alone. We ask that drivers stay in their cars in our parking lot.
    • The exceptions (limit to 1 person per patient):
      • Patients who need assistance for safe mobility
      • Patients who need assistance with memory
      • Translators

As always, your health and safety is the most important thing to us. If you have questions regarding any of this information, or would like to discuss your hearing health, please don’t hesitate to contact us (913) 754-2144.

We look forward to continuing to help you on your hearing journey now and in the future, and wish you the safety, health, and happiness in the upcoming weeks.
