Michael’s father, Lee F. Schneller, started his first hearing clinic in Garden City, Kansas in 1971. As a young child, Michael worked in his father’s clinic after school and on weekends, working on, repairing and cleaning hearing aids.
Growing up Michael traveled with his father to hospitals and retirement communities in southwest Kansas, assisting him in any way he could.
From these experiences, he acquired a passion for helping others. This prompted him to focus his education on assisting people with hearing impairments.
The foundation of hearing aid knowledge Michael acquired while working in the state of Kansas helped pave the way so Michael could expand his studies in California, Minnesota, and Florida.
